Use the Shapes feature to highlight or measure distances and areas. Tap the plus sign in the lower right corner of the main maps screen, then tap “Draw Shapes/Measure Tools” icon. Choose between drawing a polygon, line or circle. Let’s take a polygon for example. Once you tap “Create Polygon”, you will see crosshairs appear on the map. Pan the map to move the crosshairs until you find your starting point. Tap to set your first point, then do the same for the rest. Name your shape and save it. To create a circle, place your crosshairs where you’d like the centerpoint to be, then zoom in or out to adjust the diameter.

Enjoy saving unlimited shapes with BaseMap Pro. With Basic, you are limited to 50 total user objects which include shapes, photos, offline maps, markers and tracks.
